Does Peekeez use cookies?

Like many web and e-commerce sites, Peekeez uses cookies to uniquely identify your browser. Peekeez uses cookies to improve the quality of our service, simplify and streamline the login process, and to authorize access to certain premium features. Is the video from my webcam public?

No, your webcam is completely private. Only the people you specifically invite will be able to view your camera.

Does Peekeez save email addresses?

Yes, Peekeez will save your email address so we can make sure you are a valid user. We also store email addresses of anyone you invite to view your camera for the same purpose.

Will any of my personal information be shared with 3rd parties?

No. If it were up to us, spammers would be tarred and feathered. If Peekeez becomes involved in a merger, acquisition, or any form of sale of some or all of its assets, we will provide notice before personal information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

Camera Identifiers

When you add a camera to the Peekeez service, we create an identifier for your camera –a string of random numbers and letters and contains no personally identifiable information.

It functions as your computer's identification token and enables Peekeez to secure the site. Most browsers are initially set to accept cookies. When you access Peekeez services, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends whenever you visit a website. In rare occasions it is necessary to send out a strictly service-related announcement that is not promotional in nature.
